Facilities, Equipment & Spaces
University of Art University offers its students access to world-class equipment including, cameras, lighting equipment, photography, studio spaces, greenish-screen rooms, and telecine studios.

Important Spring 2022 Facilities Use Proclamation
Academy of Art University will be opening select labs, shops and studios for grade homework during the Leap 2022 Semester. In society to promote a safe and healthy learning environment, we are limiting onsite traffic in most areas where technology tin can be served in a virtual setting. This change will have an impact to Academic Facility designations inside about majors as Course Fee entitlements for onsite reckoner labs are being waived or replaced with Virtual Lab Access. In add-on, nosotros will be utilizing our WebCheckout Reservation Arrangement to make reservations remotely and in advance to coming on campus. The implementation of WebCheckout is necessary to place contact and adds another level of support with safe measures.

Our art and blueprint facilities are open to students through a reservation system. Reserve your spot and gain condom access to equipment checkout, shops, labs, and other on campus resources that are of import to your piece of work.

All students will be required to brand reservations in advance for studio, lab, and shop access.

Machine Museum
Former Academy of Art University President Richard A. Stephens has always had a penchant for cars—a passion passed down to his girl and current President Dr. Elisa Stephens. Wanting to offer industrial blueprint students unparalleled reference material, the auto museum hosts a wealth of beautifully crafted historical automobiles correct in our industrial design building.
The museum is open up to the public, and nosotros invite you to come by and experience automotive history for yourself.
All proceeds from admission will benefit the Rotary Club and the Boys & Girls Club.

Chapel
Visit our chapel at the St. Brigid building, an official landmark in San Francisco. Painstakingly restored and seismically upgraded, the building features ornate interiors with extensive stained drinking glass windows past famed artist Harry Clarke, a pipe organ, and soaring ceilings.
